podcast reflection blog

I think my podcast successful in addressing my audience. It would not be relevant to someone with the same views as me, therefore directing it towards everyone who looked down upon body modification. I love the fact that I can voice my opinions in this class and that is evident with my chosen topic. My purpose was well developed even before I began the script writing process. That really helped with the writing. Everything seemed to flow right out of my fingertips as I was creating my script. Since I was also very familiar with the subject, it made it easier to read my own script without having to re-record many times. I was really proud of the fact that I was able to add a second voice successfully without making my point sound weak. If I had more time, I would have made my podcast longer. Even though I got my point across, it was just under a minute too short. I may go back and add another question/answer point. I think my amount of sources may have been a little weak, but I was speaking mostly form personal knowledge and experience. I think the design of my podcast worked out well because it strengthened the fact that I took other people’s views into consideration when planning my script. I think my technical knowledge of the program we worked with greatly increased with this podcast. It took me a long time to figure out how to copy and paste, but in the end I believe it made my podcast better overall. I was able to record each segment individually and paste them together when I had them just right. It also helped me have the correct amount of time between each paragraph so my podcast didn’t sound rushed or forced. Now that I have successfully completed this podcast for class, I think I may regularly create podcasts on my own. I enjoyed it.
